Do you need a telehealth (video) visit?
Due to expansion of Telehealth services allowed the CMS Task Force and the White House, I'm able to offer (HIPAA compliant) services to patients in remote areas or who just don't want to get out of their houses. This loosening of the laws also allows me to 'establish care' via telemedicine, meaning I can see a patient I've never seen before for a first visit. As of now, patients should be in IL and MO. If you know anyone who doesn't have access, or easy access to care during these trying times, please direct them to one of my practices. Whole Child Pediatrics 314-272-4005 and. Ideal Pediatrics 618-281-4325. If you need a visit over the weekend, please TEXT the office number. You'll need to have your insurance information available and credit card to pay your copay. Cash rates will be available.
I can also assist adults with minor illnesses (ear pain, sore throat, etc). Please know that under normal circumstances, I would not consider this good care. I've had the means to provide Telehealth services for a few years, but I won't allow convenience to win out over quality of care (if I can't look in your ear, how can I be sure you need antibiotics, for example). BUT, these are not normal circumstances. Families need to stay home when they can.
